Future very light jet owners will be pleased to learn that VLJet Canada has implemented an ambitious, two-phase development program and enhanced the quality of its business customer service. Our strategy is based on a desire to make very light private and business jets more affordable by offering a multiple-owner program. Though the multiple-owner program is not a new idea, VLJet Canada intends to become a leader in the very light private and business jet co-ownership market in Canada.

Phase 1: Corporate Services

This phase consists in creating a synergy among Canadian pilots and businesspersons in order to “naturally” form groups of co-owners (multi-ownership, fractional ownership, or partnership). Ideally, a group of buyers wishing to purchase an aircraft would be made up of between four and eight investors. To make the experience as pleasant as possible, VLJet Canada will support the groups in each of the major steps towards purchasing and operating the aircraft, and will provide the corporate services outlined below. VLJet Canada will, in fact:

  • Serve as a representative of the group and structure, organize, and supervise the purchase of the aircraft;
  • Manage the co-owners’ use of the jet (bookings and flight calendars);
  • Make certain that expert firms ensure the maintenance of the jets;
  • Ensure the services of a professional pilot for each group of co-owners;
  • Assist co-owner pilots who want to be in control of their private twin-engine jet by referring them to training schools that VLJet Canada has carefully selected.

Phase 2: Commercial Income

VLJet Canada will be investing significant efforts in the second phase of the new program, which should create opportunities to generate a commercial income, yielding a return on investment for each jet. When the fleet will be large enough, co-owner groups will be able to make their aircrafts available for commercial use and offer “chartered” flights through VLJET Executive Airlines. Another good reason to join VLJet Canada.
